So, if you’re thinking, “I’d love to have a cross-functional team that could deliver a complete increment of value, but it would just be too big to be a Scrum team,” our advice is, let it be too big. Better to have a bigger team for a while than to split the complexity and the value across two teams. Then, cross train so you can split into two smaller cross-functional teams down the road.
